Girls like You Lyrics –

Spent 24 hours, I need more hours with you
You spent the weekend getting even, ooh
We spent the late nights making things right between us
But now it’s all good, babe
Roll that Backwood, babe
And play me close

‘Cause girls like you run ’round with guys like me
‘Til sundown when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Girls like you love fun, and yeah, me too
What I want when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah

Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you

I spent last night on the last flight to you
Took a whole day up trying to get way up, ooh
We spent the daylight trying to make things right between us
But now it’s all good, babe
Roll that Backwood, babe
And play me close

‘Cause girls like you run ’round with guys like me
‘Til sundown when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Girls like you love fun, and yeah, me too
What I want when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah

Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
I need a girl like you

Maybe it’s 6:45
Maybe I’m barely alive
Maybe you’ve taken my shit for the last time, yeah
Maybe I know that I’m drunk
Maybe I know you’re the one
Maybe you thinking it’s better if you drive

‘Cause girls like you run ’round with guys like me
‘Til sundown when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah…
‘Cause girls like you run ’round with guys like me
‘Til sundown when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Girls like you love fun, and yeah, me too
What I want when I come through
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah

Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I need a girl like you

This is the end of Spent 24 hours I need more hours with you Lyrics

Girls Like You Lyrics Meaning –

The lead singer in Maroon 5 has a wife and child. He loves his wife very much and so he sings about her, the reason I know/believe this is because, I saw it in his music video. I don’t know if you saw it but watch it till the end and listen to the lyrics not just hear the lyrics. Read them if you have to, you might be thinking “he’s just saying the same thing a hundred times” well he says more than that. Cardi B also has a part in the message. “You don’t want a girl I’m too crazy, but every other girl you meet it too gazy”. I have been inspired by this song to find love and true one, but I’m too young. Although I have a good imagination on who it could be, but at the same time who really knows.

The song makes sense on its own but then with the music video you can really hear what he is talking about. So basically, in the music video, there are a bunch of different types of girls. Different heights, races, ages, etc. So the song is really saying that he needs a girl “like you”. “Like you” is talking to every single girl in the world. So he’s saying that there is someone for every type of girl. I don’t know if that makes sense to you but that’s what it means.

The meaning of the song “ Girls Like you” by maroon 5 is that they are conveying a message here . In the music video we can see 26 different types of girls . It shows that every girl is unique in their own way and are beautiful . And these “girls” are the inspiration to the world as all of them are from different parts of the world and shows women empowerment .

Both sides of the love affair aren’t perfect, they’ve both done things wrong and they’ve had their arguments. But they still want to be together. The video is made to empower women, perhaps to show that they are an equal part of relationships which many people don’t see.
